NAPA TRACS sells a repair shop management software and hardware solution to the automotive aftermarket. The NAPA TRACS Territory Manager will be responsible for the total management of his territory of South Texas and Western .
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Travel through the territory making prospecting, selling, and closing calls on NAPA dealers with the assistance of the NAPA jobbers and salesmen. -Conduct and manage a sales cycle that includes information gathering, product discussions, product demonstrations, cost justification, and closing. -Install and train the software and hardware that is sold on-site at the customers location. -Conduct presentations to all levels of NAPA management and NAPA customers to generate sales leads and customers. Also to educate and train customers and lead generators. -Manage the relationship with the NAPA management at Distribution Center, District, and Jobber levels. -Manage competitive pressures by maintaining thorough grasp of competitive offerings and market trends -Develop a sales strategy and specific and actionable plans to meet sales targets -Continuous travel by automobile between your home office and clients. Ability to work long hours with extensive travel. -Very independent and mature person who is self motivated and sets high goals for themselves.
COMPENSATION: The representative is provided with a company vehicle, laptop computer, cell phone allowance and training. All expenses are paid as well. A base salary and generous commissions program make this an attractive position.
Required Skills:
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: -College Degree in Marketing or Business is preferred -Good computer knowledge in software, hardware and networking is required. -Automotive knowledge is required. -Two to five years related sales experience -Demonstrated Territory Management skills, including excellent follow-up and communications skills, both verbal and written and time management skills -Must demonstrate the ability to find a path through complex and bureaucratic organizations to reach and gain sign-off from decision makers -Successful Relationship Management experience, including managing a team selling sales process -Proven track record in consultative selling both products and services -Strong negotiating skills with inherent qualities for succeeding in a highly competitive and fast moving sales environment -Proven track record of presenting compelling product and sales presentations at all levels of customer organizations, including executive level -Proven track record of generating substantial revenues through new market creation and customer retention
